What’s next for the Worth Fighting For Campaign? Join us to find out!
The CUPE National Social Services Sector team is inviting all CUPE locals in social services in
Ontario to a Town Hall Meeting on Monday, September 28, from 6:30 p.m.–8:00 p.m.
This is a chance to learn how the Worth Fighting For campaign has evolved since the beginning,
where the campaign stands today, and what’s next.
We’ll also be talking about the deep work happening across the sector to build member power in
our locals and strengthen local leadership.
We’ll cover:
• Where Worth Fighting For started and how it has evolved
• Our current strategic assessment and what comes next
• How we can build power within our locals
• Ways local leaders and members can get involved
• Time for questions and discussion
You don’t need to be part of Worth Fighting For already to join us. This meeting is for ALL CUPE
locals in ALL subsectors of social services, whether or not your local was involved in the
campaign or affected by Bill 124.
Come learn, connect with other social services locals, and be part of the conversation about
building member power and fighting for the services our communities depend on.

CUPE 2204 members will meet at 11:45 am at the Centennial Flame at Parliament Hill to attend the gathering. Please wear an orange shirt in remembrance of the children and families impacted by the residential school system.
APTN and the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation invite Canadians to take part in the National Commemorative Gathering: Remembering the Children – National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. This 90-minute commemorative event highlights survivors as well as Indigenous artists.
